Steeping your tea
Wormwood tea
Directions
Wormwood is best served cold
1. Measure the Wormwood: Use about 1 teaspoon of dried wormwood leaves for each cup of tea you want to make.
2. Add Water: Place the wormwood leaves in a jar or pitcher and add cold water. Use about 8 ounces of water per teaspoon of wormwood.
3. Steep in the Fridge: Cover the jar or pitcher and place it in the refrigerator. Let it steep for about 8-12 hours. The longer it steeps, the stronger it will be.
4. Strain the Tea: After steeping, strain the tea to remove the wormwood leaves.
5. Add Sweetener (Optional): Since wormwood can be quite bitter, you might want to add a bit of honey or another sweetener to improve the taste.
6. Drink: Pour yourself a glass and enjoy your cold wormwood tea!
Remember to take it easy with wormwood since it's pretty strong stuff. Enjoy!
